Happy Solstice, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa, & New Year, dear readers!

Just a quick note to let you know that this morning I delivered the manuscript of Owen Archer 12 to my publisher! Watch this space in the new year for a title and cover reveal and publishing dates!

a conspiracy of wolves rgb final smallIn other news…the trade paperback of A Conspiracy of Wolves will be available in the UK at the end of January 2020, and early April in the US, Canada, and wherever my books are sold!

I will be back in action on this blog in the new year. Right now I intend to kick back, relax, and enjoy the holidays. I hope you do as well!

  1. I truly enjoyed Conspiracy [but wish the publisher left it as Rumours…, or Rumors…]. Because of the years, I went back and read Vigil of Spies, and ended up reading six of the ten books in reverse order, ending with what may be my favorite: Apothecary Rose. But I am already looking with anticipation to number twelve.

I sensed a difference in number eleven, which is why I went back through the series to see if I could see what that difference was. My conclusion was ten years of writing eight other books, and maybe some different editors.

I am still astonished that no one has considered putting these books into a video series!

    • I’m so glad you enjoyed Wolves (let’s skip the controversial word), Bob. And reading backward–how Alice of you! 😉
My writing style has surely changed over time, as have I.
      Wishing you magical holidays! Candace

      • Okay. The backwards read was because I’d forgotten some details of “Vigil of Spies”, and that led to “Guilt of Innocents”. I did skip the Wales tales but picked up again with “The King’s Bishop” and finished with “Apothecary Rose”. I hadn’t thought of Alice. I also think there were a larger number of important characters to keep track of in “Wolves”. But you still philosophize via Magda, and I like that.
